Base Color
The background shade controls the overall tone. Black, charcoal, silver, champagne, gold and brand colors can produce very different sparkle contrast.
DERACP supplies sparkle aluminum composite panel, sparkle ACP, glitter aluminum composite panel and sparkling ACM sheet for projects that need more visual depth than an ordinary solid color. Define the sparkle intensity, color direction, coating, panel build, dimensions and approval sample together—so the finish that looks right in a sample can also be produced, fabricated and installed as a controlled project material.
Unlike a standard solid ACP color, the perceived appearance can change with viewing angle, lighting, gloss level and the density or character of effect particles. The useful purchasing specification therefore combines the visual target with the complete panel: aluminum skins, core, total thickness, coating system, dimensions, protective film, fabrication direction and physical sample approval.
Most projects use this finish to create a stronger premium, festive, retail or branded visual impression without moving to a mirror-like surface. The effect can range from subtle metallic shimmer to a more pronounced glitter appearance.
Do not approve sparkle ACP only from a website image. Screen brightness, camera exposure and room lighting can change the perceived glitter effect.
“Silver sparkle,” “black glitter” or “gold sparkling ACM” describes an appearance direction, but it does not define how the installed wall will read. Good project control starts with the behavior of the finish under real light.
The background shade controls the overall tone. Black, charcoal, silver, champagne, gold and brand colors can produce very different sparkle contrast.
Fine shimmer can look architectural and restrained; stronger glitter can create a more obvious decorative statement. Define the intent with a physical reference.
Gloss level influences how clearly highlights read under daylight, spotlights and LED lighting. Review samples in the lighting conditions relevant to the project.
If the coating shows directional light response, keep fabrication and installation direction consistent across visible modules to reduce patchy appearance.
Visible shimmer / glitter highlights. Best when a surface should attract attention while remaining an ACP cladding material.
Metallic light response within one color family, usually calmer and more architectural than a pronounced glitter finish.
Designed for intentional hue shift as angle and lighting change. The surface can migrate between color families.
Reflection dominates the appearance. It is chosen for brightness and reflected surroundings rather than dispersed sparkle.
Use this table to structure a comparable inquiry. Values below are project discussion directions based on DERACP’s published ACP ranges; exact combinations, tolerances, test reports, MOQ, availability and lead time should be confirmed for the selected construction.
| Specification field | Common / configurable direction | What to confirm before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Sparkle aluminum composite panel / sparkle ACP / glitter aluminum composite panel / sparkling ACM sheet | Interior or exterior use, visual target, viewing distance and reference sample. |
| Total panel thickness | DERACP published ranges commonly discuss 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm constructions. | Finished module size, stiffness, routing/folding, support spacing and installation system. |
| Aluminum skin | Project-selected; DERACP information covers economical through heavier architectural gauges. | State front and back skin thickness separately in the RFQ. |
| Core | PE or fire-rated direction subject to project requirements and available documentation. | Required fire classification, test method and report scope for the exact supplied construction. |
| Surface finish | Fine shimmer, glitter / galaxy, metallic-sparkle or custom effect direction. | Base color, effect density, particle character, gloss, orientation and approved physical sample. |
| Coating | PE for suitable interior / economical applications; PVDF direction for demanding exterior exposure where appropriate. | Exposure, UV, climate, cleaning, project specification and coating documentation. |
| Width & length | Standard and custom size review available according to production feasibility. | Module schedule, nesting / yield, fabrication allowance, packing and container loading. |
| Protective film | Temporary surface protection for fabrication, shipping and installation. | Film print, direction arrows, peel timing, residue expectations and OEM requirement. |
| Color approval | Color code, image, coated chip, competitor sample or physical panel can start development. | Bulk approval should reference a confirmed physical sample, not a monitor image alone. |
| Packing | Project / export packing can be coordinated with order requirements. | Sheet count, pallet protection, labels, batch marks, destination and handling conditions. |
A decorative effect cannot compensate for an underspecified panel. For façade, ceiling, retail and signage projects, coordinate the appearance with the underlying construction and installation conditions.
The visible skin carries the sparkle finish. Skin gauge, pretreatment, coating chemistry and curing affect flatness, fabrication behavior and surface performance.
The core and bonding system determine the basic sandwich construction. Fire-related requirements must be linked to the exact panel build and supporting documents required by the project.
Panel size, routing, folding, cassette geometry, fastener / adhesive strategy, support spacing, wind design and joint layout influence the installed appearance and service behavior.
The finish is most valuable where light, movement and brand presentation are part of the design brief. The required panel build should still be selected around the actual exposure and installation system.
Use sparkle ACP to create highlights around entrances, logos, fascia bands and flagship feature surfaces. Review the finish under the actual store lighting.
Feature walls, lobby elements, columns and ceiling details can use controlled sparkle to add depth without the full reflectivity of mirror panels.
Automotive, technology, jewelry and product-display spaces can use glitter ACP as a backdrop that changes subtly as customers move.
Suitable for decorative sign backgrounds, exhibition structures and branded panels when fabrication, print / graphic compatibility and surface handling are confirmed.
Use as a controlled accent rather than assuming every sparkle finish is automatically suitable for full exterior cladding. Confirm coating, core, wind design and local requirements.
Indoor lighting can intensify the glitter effect. Approve the sample from normal viewing distance as well as close range.
A strong RFQ describes the visual effect and the panel construction in the same document. That gives suppliers a common basis for sampling, pricing and repeat production.
Send reference photos, color code or sample and describe subtle shimmer vs stronger glitter.
Interior / exterior, climate, façade height, lighting and cleaning conditions.
Total thickness, front/back skins, core, coating, dimensions and fabrication route.
Review the real coated sample from multiple angles and under representative lighting.
Reference sample ID, panel direction, batch marks, labels and packing in the order.
Sparkle ACP / [panel thickness] / [front + back aluminum skin] / [core] / [PE or PVDF] / [sparkle color & intensity reference] / [width × length] / [quantity] / [destination].
Add fire / material documentation, fabrication requirement, protective film, OEM labels and packaging instructions where applicable.
A low price based on a different skin gauge, coating or finish standard is not a like-for-like comparison.
DERACP’s current company information states more than 20 years of ACP manufacturing experience and multiple production lines. For a special-effect panel, the useful advantage is the ability to coordinate finish development with the sheet specification, inspection points, fabrication needs and export preparation.
Discuss base tone, glitter level, metallic character, gloss and physical approval reference before bulk production.
Coordinate aluminum skins, total thickness, core, coating, sheet size, protective film and packing as one order specification.
Connect the approved specification with appearance checks, dimensional control, labeling, pallet protection and destination handling.
Compare a controlled metallic finish with a more pronounced sparkle / glitter direction.
Special effectUse when the design requires deliberate color shift rather than sparkle inside one color family.
Color approvalPlan RAL, Pantone or physical-sample matching and document the approved finish reference.
Gloss comparisonCompare bright gloss with glitter / metallic particle effects.
Reflective surfaceReview reflective ACP when mirror brightness is more important than distributed sparkle.
Product selectionCompare panel families, coatings, finishes, dimensions and project document requirements.
Not exactly. Both can react to light, but sparkle ACP is selected for visible shimmer or glitter-like highlights, while metallic ACP is usually specified for a smoother metallic appearance within one color family. A physical sample is the clearest way to separate the two effects.
Common applications include retail façades, branded entrances, interior feature walls, ceilings, showrooms, exhibition displays, hospitality spaces and decorative signage. Exterior suitability depends on the coating, panel build, fixing system, exposure and project requirements.
Custom color and special-effect directions can be reviewed using a color code, image, coated chip or physical sample as the starting reference. Final feasibility, sparkle intensity, gloss, MOQ and acceptance tolerance should be confirmed during sample approval and quotation.
PE is commonly considered for suitable interior or cost-sensitive applications. PVDF is often discussed for more demanding exterior exposure. The final coating should be selected from the actual environment, expected service, project specification and available supporting documentation rather than from the finish name alone.
Lighting, viewing angle, gloss, surface direction and panel orientation can change how the glitter effect is perceived. Mixing orientations or relying on screen images for approval can increase visible variation. Use an approved physical sample and control installation direction for appearance-sensitive areas.
Send the sparkle / glitter reference, panel thickness, front and back aluminum skin thickness, core requirement, coating, width and length, quantity, interior or exterior use, destination, required documentation, protective film and packing needs. Add fabrication or OEM requirements where relevant.
