Before folding aluminum panel, we first choose to use slotting machine (trimming machine) to open a slot from the back of the aluminum plate. Otherwise, it is impossible to fold. The depth of the slotting is adjusted according to the thickness of the aluminum board. First, shorten the knife head, try slowly, until it seems to expose aluminium. When the skin does not appear to be exposed, it is easy to scratch the aluminium skin when it is deep, resulting in folding and fracture, and when it is shallow, it is easy to split the forehead.

Thirdly, choose the cutter head. The cutter head can be divided into U-type and V-type. The U-type cutter head is not easy to scratch the aluminium skin, but the angle is not very straight. If the V-type cutter head is sharp, the angle is very straight. The angle is good, but it is easy to scratch the aluminium skin and cause the aluminium skin cracking. Generally, the 4 mm aluminium composite panel can be scratched with 6# cutter head.
