DERACP / Order scheduling & project supply

Aluminum Composite
Panel Lead Time

Bring your required delivery date into the conversation before the order is placed. DERACP helps importers, facade contractors, distributors and sign fabricators review the panel specification, approval requirements and shipment arrangements that shape a workable ACP supply schedule.

Start with the date being promised

How long does ACP production take?

Aluminum composite panel lead time depends on the approved construction, color, quantity, material availability and production workload. An enquiry date alone does not establish the manufacturing start date. Before scheduling fabrication or installation, ask which approvals and commercial conditions must be completed for your order to enter production.

About 15 days

A published DERACP reference for certain orders after deposit receipt and color confirmation.

Use this as a quotation starting point

This reference is not a live capacity statement or an arrival promise. DERACP must confirm its applicability to your specification, whether days mean calendar or working days, the release conditions and the completion milestone. Custom requirements and current loading can change the schedule.

A useful ACP production lead time confirmation names both ends of the period: the agreed production release date and the agreed completion or cargo-ready date. It should also identify any remaining inspection, packing or dispatch work. This makes the timing usable when coordinating a workshop, warehouse or construction site.

Different orders follow different calendars

What changes ACP order turnaround?

Two enquiries for the same quantity can require different preparation. Check the order conditions below before treating a short advertised lead time as relevant to your purchase.

Order requirementWhat can affect the scheduleWhat to settle early
Regular color & common formatAvailability of the specified coated aluminum, core and suitable production slot.Confirm the exact construction and current availability; a catalog color does not establish stock.
Custom color or glossPhysical matching, sample revisions and coating material preparation.Identify the reference sample, approval contact and acceptance criteria.
Fire-related project specificationCore selection and review of documentation for the ordered panel and intended use.Submit the required classification and documents before commercial release.
Special dimensions or mixed sizesMaterial compatibility, production setup, cutting requirements and packing design.Send a size schedule with quantities for every line item.
Private label or mixed-color shipmentArtwork approval, printed film or labels, separate batches and shipment consolidation.Approve branding and identify whether all items must leave together.

The table explains scheduling variables; it does not assign an automatic number of extra days to a finish or core.

01 / APPROVALS

Make color decisions traceable

A screen image or color name can leave the acceptance standard unresolved. Record the physical reference, finish direction and gloss expectation, and nominate one person to approve revisions.

02 / ORDER RELEASE

Keep the specification in one revision

A late change to width, aluminum skin or coating can require another material and schedule review. Consolidate the purchase description so purchasing, production and the end user approve the same order.

The material behind the schedule

Specify the panel before you compare delivery dates

DERACP supplies aluminum composite panels for exterior cladding, interior decoration, signage and other agreed applications. ACP, also called ACM sheet, combines two aluminum faces with a bonded core. The surface, core and dimensions must suit the work; changing them simply to shorten the schedule can create another approval problem.

What your schedule enquiry should identify

Thickness & aluminum skins
State total panel thickness and the thickness of each face separately. Identify the grade needed for flat use, routing or folding.
Dimensions & quantity
1220 × 2440 mm is a published reference format. Confirm the exact size, number of sheets or area, and quantity by color.
Coating & appearance
DERACP publishes PE, PVDF and other surface options. Match the coating, gloss and finish to the intended exposure and approved sample.
Core & project documents
Identify the core and any required fire performance evidence for the exact construction and intended application.
Protective film & packing
Specify face protection, branding, pallet restrictions, labels and the unloading method before the cargo is packed.

For dimensions, finishes and branding beyond the reference format, explore custom aluminum composite panel options.

For projects with specified fire requirements, review the DERACP fire-rated ACP range and request relevant documentation. A product category name alone does not establish project acceptance.

From line completion to receiving dock

ACM delivery time needs its own plan

Production completion is one milestone in an international order. ACM delivery time also depends on release checks, shipment booking, transport, customs and receiving arrangements. Ask for dates against named locations: the factory, the export port, the destination port or your warehouse. Each answers a different operational question.

01 / FINISHED MATERIAL

Confirm what is ready

Establish whether the date covers finished sheets, inspected material or fully packed cargo. If inspection is required, agree the checklist and booking window before the intended dispatch.

02 / SHIPMENT RELEASE

Align packing and documents

Check package dimensions, weight, marks and the document requirements of the importer and broker. Resolve discrepancies before collection or the shipping document deadline.

03 / TRANSPORT

Use the actual route

Request a current routing and estimated departure and arrival from the appointed forwarder. Booking space, transshipment and port conditions influence the plan; production days cannot predict them.

04 / LOCAL RECEIPT

Arrange the final handover

Allow for import release, local trucking and a receiving appointment. Confirm access, unloading equipment and storage conditions, especially for oversized or mixed pallets.

For an EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF quotation, have the proposed term and named place confirmed in writing. Identify who arranges each transport stage and which charges are included; the quoted term and price alone do not provide a warehouse arrival date.

Review DERACP logistics information alongside the order-specific packing and shipping proposal.

Work backward from the day you need the sheets

Build a purchasing date around the real deadline

Tell DERACP whether your deadline is a warehouse replenishment, a fabricator's material intake or a site delivery. A facade installation date may still require local cutting, routing and assembly after the sheets arrive. Include that work when establishing the material receiving date.

Material receiving deadline − local delivery and import allowance − transport allowance − cargo preparation − confirmed production period − approval allowance = target enquiry and release window

For a facade contractor

Obtain the approved material construction and finish before committing to fabrication dates. Plan mock-up or sample review, consultant response time and local processing alongside the sheet supply.

Identify panels needed for the first installation area and discuss whether a phased release is feasible. Keep appearance-sensitive areas within an agreed batch plan.

For a distributor or importer

Separate the receiving deadline for core selling lines from the preferred date for optional finishes. A mixed shipment can depend on the last unfinished item, even when other colors are ready.

Send the quantity per size and color, packing priorities and consolidation rules. Ask for the schedule effect before adding another item to the order.

When the order is urgent

Provide the required date, destination and non-negotiable specification first. Then ask whether an available color, an approved common size or a partial shipment could help. Any alternative should be accepted by the responsible buyer or designer, with cost and schedule implications confirmed. Expedited freight cannot recover time spent waiting for an unresolved sample.

DERACP's published company profile describes a 15,000 m² factory and a 5,000 m² warehouse. Its product range allows buyers to discuss panel construction, decorative surfaces, dimensions and order presentation with the supplier.

For a deadline-sensitive purchase, turn that discussion into a dated plan: what is approved, what remains open, when production can begin and when the cargo can be released. Facility figures provide context; the confirmed order schedule establishes availability.

Questions before order confirmation

Aluminum composite panel lead time FAQ

What is DERACP's typical aluminum composite panel lead time?

DERACP has published a reference of about 15 days after deposit receipt and color confirmation for certain orders. The applicable production period, calendar or working-day basis, release conditions and completion milestone must be confirmed for your specification and the current production schedule.

When does ACP production lead time start?

Use the start condition stated in the order confirmation. Deposit receipt, color approval, final specifications and other agreed release requirements may need to be complete. Sending an enquiry or receiving an initial quotation does not by itself establish the production start date.

Is ACM delivery time the same as manufacturing time?

No. Manufacturing time covers the agreed production scope. Delivery planning may also include inspection, packing, booking, transport, customs and local trucking. Confirm whether each date refers to factory completion, cargo readiness, port arrival or receipt at your named location.

Can custom colors increase ACP order turnaround?

They can, because matching, sample review and material preparation may be required before production release. Send the physical reference or color code, gloss target and approval procedure early. Ask DERACP to confirm the schedule after the proposed finish has been reviewed.

Are common colors and standard sizes available for immediate shipment?

Availability must be checked for the exact color, size, thickness, aluminum skin and core. A published catalog option is not evidence of finished stock. Ask which material is available now and whether it matches the approved order.

Does a fire-rated ACP specification always take longer?

There is no fixed additional period for every fire-related specification. Timing depends on the required construction, material availability and document review. Provide the project requirements early and confirm that the proposed panel and supporting evidence are acceptable before release.

Can one order be shipped in stages?

Ask DERACP to review phased production and shipment against your quantities, finish consistency and packing needs. Agree which items leave first, the extra handling or freight implications and the identification of each batch before relying on a split schedule.

What happens if I change the specification after confirmation?

Request a revised quotation and schedule assessment before accepting the change. New dimensions, skins, coating, color or branding can affect materials, approvals, packing and the production slot. Record the updated specification revision and the replacement dates in writing.
